Early BioHydrogen

This facility produces hydrogen from grain, sludge, and fuel gas as soon as the Hydrogen Reformer is unlocked — that is, in the midgame. It’s probably the most cost-effective way to produce hydrogen for both industrial use and fueling trains, significantly cheaper than producing hydrogen through water electrolysis. Using 81 wheat/corn, it yields 84 hydrogen per minute while consuming 1.6 MW of energy.

The design follows the cell-based concept, meaning:

• Easy scaling of production by mirroring and connecting cells.
• Compact layout with access to storages from both opposite sides of the rectangular footprint.
