Okay, I am seeing loads of everything, except I don't see ANY limestone or iron ore???

Limestone is present as a deposit in the mountains. for example. Iron ore occurs on a mountainside in the west. Furthermore, one of the large mountains is a huge iron ore deposit.

Every resource is available on the map, in truly sufficient quantities

I got the weirdest bug. When I load in version 2 of the map it gives me a map that has stone replaced with sand and iron ore replaced with garbage. It´s like they switched places. Only have it version 2 of this map. Is this an april fools joke I´m not getting? Cause if so..dang that´s funny

@Morpheus4213 I have just tested the map. Started a new game with the current version. All resources are distributed normally. Iron ore is iron ore, sand is sand and so on. so I can't say why you have a bug. The map works normally.

@mrstriker: I´ve tested it with mods off and on. I unfortunately don´t have discord, otherwise I´d give you a screenshot, but I will test it out and see if it has changed. I´m very confused why the version 1 does not show that bug for me. edit 2: I reinstalled the whole game and now it works normally. Why this only happened with ONE version of the map I can not tell, but I´m sorry for making a fuss about it. It´s still a very funny picture, with garbage replacing iron and sand and stone switching places. I´ll leave it until I´m being told to delete it

@Morpheus4213 There seems to have been some kind of bug in the game. Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce it and see what's going on. If everything works now with the current version, it's great. Have fun with Captain of Industry

I should have asked this sooner before starting to play... In the game, it shows an icon for Uranium, but I don't see any marking on the map. Is that not on your map? I wonder if you were to add it, and I hadn't constructed or mined there, if I would be able to see it. Oh, and thanks for getting it out so soon after U3 update. Great map!!

I apologize for my mistake. I had set something wrong when creating the map, the new version now includes uranium ore. the deposit is located in one of the big mountains. the second highest mountain on the map

Should I be able to just copy the map file over and use it with my existing save?

Well, I did try that. Copied your v5 map over to the maps folder, backed up v3, renamed v5 to v3 and then loaded up my save. I don't see it in my current save, so I assume the map assets are cached somehow in the game file? Anyway to update that to your new version? I haven't even begun mining over there yet.

the saved map in the save state is not overwritten if you overwrite the map in the map folder. I am not aware of any way of overwriting the savegame with the new map version.

Oh bummer. Not worth starting over. There's plenty of Uranium mines on the world map with a lot of Uranium, and Asteroids might bring more. If you do find a way, I wouldn't mind some free resources on the map. :)

for existing saves there is the option of the uranium mine on the world map if you don't want to restart. that would be the solution if you want to continue playing with the old map version. If I find a solution, I will be happy to share it here

First, i want to congratulate you for this map, excellent job, and i love it. My only problem with it is, that i don't like the mixed ores on it. The mixed coal/iron at start 1, bauxit/coal, etc. Do you have any plans for making a "not mixed ores" version of this map?

my game crash everytime with all map downloaded

Have you installed any mods? For me, it helped to not only disable the mods in the game, but also to delete the contents of the mod folder, restart the game, and then everything worked.

It's working now, but sometimes after half the loading time my PC crashes. I have to restart my PC 5-6 times and then it works.

I've now played several hundred hours on my map. Haven't had any problems. Please monitor your system load (Task Manager, for example) and temperatures. And take a look at the crash log file. It looks more like your PC is having problems with the game or is reaching its performance/temperatur limits.

@mstriker Looks like a great map to try a playthrough on. I'm sure it took a lot of time and hard work. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing!

@CplHobs Thank you very much for the kind words. The map editor is very helpful and easy to use. I'm glad that other players are trying out the map and having fun with it.
