Flat "bottom" terrain designation

Any option I might be missing to have a "flat bottom" for the designation? The current wobbly system leads to some weird problems and just does not look "clean".

There is option to limit floor to less than max depth. But you want to dig out more rock to make flatter bottom?

yes exactly...just so all is on the same level
